Designation: Verifier -Trade Finance Operations
Job Description :
The person will be responsible for smooth day to day operation of trade related activities through active coordination and execution of the core tasks i.e. in-house bank management, execution of SWIFT / RTGS / LC / BG / REMITTANCE / EXPORT / IMPORT, Trade Accounts reconciliations along with Customer interaction. The person should be well in Team Management and timely deliverables.
Job Responsibilities:
• Verify transactions as per the agreed service standards & approved procedures;
• Highlight any internal errors committed by the team & take necessary action
• Verify & publish various MIS, business newsletters, management reports, presentations as per business requirements;
• Ensure effective customer service;
• Maintain & update error ratchet, customer complaints tracker along with a corrective & preventive action plan;
• Escalate any issues/complaints to the business head in a timely manner;
• Ensure comprehensive compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements as relevant for various product and services;
• Ensure that all process notes, flowcharts, checklist etc that is referred to by the unit are updated till date. Report to the business head on any changes in the process followed or deviation from the standard process & if need be make relevant changes & obtain approvals;
• Participate in launch/implementation of any new Products and Processes;
• Formulate process improvement ideas/projects in the unit resulting in cost saves or productivity improvements.
• Ensure that processes laid down are followed in case of contingency.
• Support the unit managers in preparation of any audit related deliverables i.e. internal / external, ISO, Regulatory, Statutory, etc. Attend to any audit findings and resolve them immediately;
• Conduct customer satisfaction survey in consultation with the business head & ensure that actions plans devised plan based on the feedback received are executed on a timely manner;
• Be aware of ISO 9001:2000 standards & meet/exceed set quality parameters conforming to the standards;
• Identify training & development needs of the team & conduct training at frequent intervals to meet the training requirements;
• Maintain personal & team discipline (timings, attendance etc) in the office;
• Act as an effective back up in the absence of peers handling other processes with in the same team.

Graduate (CAIIB) / Post Graduate (M.Com or CA or MBA) from a recognized university.
Experience:
• Graduate/M.com with 3-6 years of experience or MBA/CA with 2-4 years of experience in trade finance operations.
• Knowledge of Flex cube & SWIFT operations will be an added advantage.
Computer Skill
• Fully conversant with MS-Office
• Experience in implementation of automation in Trade processes will be considered an added advantage.
